DCS Healthcare, the Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) for CMS Region A, posted two new issues on August 11, 2010, including their first non-DRG Validation issue approved as a Complex Reveiw. Medical Necessity is still not approved for review,
although this latest issue does not mention Medical Necessity.
DCS Issues Under Review Address ChangeDCS also changed the structure of their public website that same day, moving the page displaying their approved issues, which is required by their contract with CMS.
